These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase of products and use of services from TRNDX Consolidated ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, making a payment, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms apply to all sales of devices, accessories, and related services. They incorporate our Strict Business Policy as set out below.
2. Strict Business Policy
To ensure smooth, fair, and transparent transactions, we operate under the following non-negotiable policies:
2.1 No Credit Deals
We do not offer merchandise on credit. All purchases must be paid for according to the agreed payment option.
2.2 Lay-By / Pay Slow
We accept lay-by payments. Your device will only be released once it has been fully paid for. Lay-by payments attract interest, making this option more expensive than paying upfront.
2.3 Cash Upfront
Paying the full amount upfront is our cheapest payment option.
2.4 No Hire Purchase
We do not offer hire-purchase agreements.
2.5 Trade-Ins
We do not accept non-flagship Android devices as trade-ins.
2.6 Warranty - Tampering
Your warranty is automatically void if your device is opened, repaired, modified, or tampered with by a third-party technician.
2.7 Warranty - Damage
Any physical or accidental damage caused to your device by the customer will void the warranty, regardless of whether the damage was intentional or accidental.
These policies are in place to protect both TRNDX and our customers and to avoid misunderstandings regarding payments, warranties, and device ownership.
3. Orders, Pricing & Payment
- All prices are as quoted at the time of sale and are subject to change without notice until payment is confirmed.
- Ownership of the device remains with TRNDX Consolidated until full payment has been received.
- Failure to complete payment under a lay-by arrangement may result in forfeiture of amounts already paid, subject to applicable law, and cancellation of the order.
4. Delivery & Collection
Devices will only be released or delivered once full payment has been received and cleared. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon collection or delivery.
5. Returns, Refunds & Warranty
- Returns and refunds are handled strictly in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws and our warranty terms above.
- Warranty claims are void in cases of tampering or customer-caused damage as described in Sections 2.6 and 2.7.
- We reserve the right to inspect any device submitted for warranty or return.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TRNDX Consolidated shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the relevant product.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa (or the jurisdiction in which we operate). Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued engagement with us after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
